Snack Program
If you would like to help with the snack program, Mary is always looking for anyone wanting to fill in once in a while. It's about 1 hour of handing out snacks to students after school. Time commitment 2:00-3:00 M-F.

PTA Scholarship Fund
For over 45 years, the PTA Scholarship Fund has awarded $1000 each to 5-10 high school seniors annually. The scholarship program has been run by the Somerville PTA Council, with significant help from school PTAs and individual volunteers. We now need your help to award scholarships to as many deserving seniors of the graduating class as possible. We are looking for volunteers to join the Somerville PTA Council's Fundraising Committee. If you can't join but know of any SHS alumni, teachers, parents, or other community members who you think would be interested in this role, please pass this on to them!
We are proud to support ambitious students who have worked hard over their high school careers and will be furthering their educational journeys at college. The scholarship money can be used on what students and their families most need -- tuition, health insurance, school fees, books, computers, etc. The Committee will work to establish a sustainable fundraising strategy that is participative, fair, and cost-effective. Most importantly, it will help some of our SHS graduates be financially prepared for their first months of college.
